Last week my siblings and I have moved my parents from NW Saskatchewan to SE Saskatchewan.
After 26 years of living in my mother's childhood hometown -- in the former convent -- they're moving back to the area where my dad grew up and where my parents began their married life.
My husband drove the U-Haul and I followed him in the moving truck, listening to an audiobook about decluttering and feeling quite nostalgic. Moving has a way of unearthing all kinds of memories, which always puts me in mind of the song, "If These Walls Could Speak" by Amy Grant.
Sara Groves' song "This House" is another poignant reflection on the places where we live and love.
