If I had  a Sister

by Jill Anderson Cavanagh

Jill Cavanagh wrote this poem 20 years ago with her friends in mind. She says, "It was just me dabbling in my spare time, thinking of my friends, but during COVID, with more time to reflect, I pulled it out, dusted if off, and am having it published."

Jill's goal is to enjoy the memories she has of her friends and wake up some memories that other people may have.

Some women pray for their daughters to marry good husbands. I pray that my daughters will find girlfriends half as loyal and true as the ya-yas.
